The Blades could have been a little sturdier as they seemed super thin. The quality and the workmanship are great; the installation is easy, once done the fan will run smoothly, quietly and gives off sufficient airflow. However, I caution you that these Hampton Bay ceiling fans have reversible blades, which are very close in color. The blade color is nice; the style works great, and the glass light shades are removable if you opt to use a different glass style. Using a clear glass for a more contemporary and brighter look is also an option to consider. These fans are amber colored and allow more ambient lighting, the CFLs are included and are standard size, very economical, easily to be installed and works like a champ, looks just like the classy expensive ones on the market, and the frosted glass is a yellowish tan and the fan body is a nice bronze brown. These Hampton Bay ceiling fans come with the light bulbs to get it all going, and the frosted glass fan body is a nice oil bronze brown. What I like about the blades is that they can be flipped over for a different color wood tone, regarding these tones; the difference is much greater in the brushed nickel set, a definitely darker versus a definitely lighter wood. In the bronze set, the two tones are much more closely matched. They move plenty of air on the medium speed to keep you comfortable, and the CFL bulbs included with the fan provide plenty of light. All in all, this is an amazing value, and once installed, try to run them for some time to ensure the fans are balanced.

Other model of Hampton Bay ceiling fans is the midili 44 inches, in brushed nickel made for indoor, is very quiet; on low it is completely silent, and on high there is only a slight "whoosh" of the blades. No hum at any speed, I also like that there are no exposed screws or other hardware, even the ceiling canopy has a silver trim ring that covers the screws at the top. It also comes with a remote, and that alone is worth $25-30, which makes this fan seem like a bargain. The fan come perfectly balanced doesn't wobble even at highest speed, unlike those cheap fans builders put in a house that wobble or give out a humming sound. The remote is great as you can adjust the fan speed for your light, however, make sure you get the proper fan junction box that can carry the weight, not the box that is used for just light fixtures. The installation instructions especially in regards to the remote control receiver placement, here is a tip, slide the receiver into mount prior to connecting wires, and once installed, very nice fan, extremely quiet, and the remote controls fan speed and light brightness. This is a great fan overall and especially for smaller additional rooms in your house, great fan for that smaller room where you want a good looking fan but on a smaller scale. I really like that it has a remote control, a feature that is hard to find in this size and price range. These Hampton Bay ceiling fans are very sleek and contemporary, perfect for small rooms. The lamp is adequate for ambient light, however will not suffice for any serious task lighting. I also agree that this light could be brighter, I would not recommend it as a primary source of light. With the remote mounting cradle you can turn the light on right when you walk into the room, looks really cool and modern and is just the right size. A thoughtful design element on this model is the trim bezel that twist-locks on the canopy to conceal the screws although the instruction booklet does not show or mention putting it on before connecting the wiring, overall, the fan is very quiet, balanced right out of the box and remote is responsive. The remotes are a must if you have only one switch in your room and want both a light and fan. The instructions don’t mention how to fit the remote control receiver into the base of the fan so that's something you consult an electrician for or the store you purchase it from, other than that it is absolutely gorgeous and silent Hampton Bay ceiling fan.
